We’ve added tracks from four artists this week, on FolkNRoots Radio.

The LYNNeS

Canadian songwriters Lynn Miles and Lynne Hanson have joined forces as The Lynnes and are releasing a record called “Heartbreak Song For the Radio”.

The album drops this coming Friday, but FolkNRoots is spinning a couple of tracks this week, including the opening track, “Cold Front”

You can hear them on our Canadiana, Folk and Women’s Voices shows.

Dead Horses

Dead Horses is a duo out of the United States. They are releasing their new record in April, but in the meantime, we’ve added a couple of tracks from their most recent album “Cartoon Moon”, including the song “Golden Sky”

You can hear them on the Americana and Folk shows.

Stephen Stanley

The Stephen Stanley Band, out of Toronto, has released a brilliant record titled “Jimmy & The Moon”.  This week we are spinning “The Troubadour’s Song” and you can hear it on our Canadiana and Men’s Voices shows.

Mary Gauthier

Mary Gauthier is, quite simply, one of the very best Americana songwriters working today. Here latest record, which dropped a week ago, is the result of her project “Songwriting with Soldiers”, which aims to help veterans and their families deal with pain and trauma through the creation of art.

The new record is titled “Rifles and Rosary Beads”, and this week we are spinning the opening track, “Soldiering On”.

You can hear it on our Americana and Folk shows among others, as well as in the video clip here.
